Tell us a little bit about yourself.

My name is Lulu, I’m from San Francisco. I’m an author for Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, but I used to work at a start up. And I do other stuff too.

How’d you get into fashion?

I grew up on the internet – I was always on forums and private forums. For as long as I can remember, fashion came with the internet.

Latest inspiration?
Kate Moss in the 90s, old school Calvin Klein, Raf Simons, Araki flowers, and pretty girls. Right now, I’m really obsessed with halter tops, and weird 15 year olds on tumblr.

Favorite stores/brands/companies?
Right now I’m into Isabel Marant SS11. Idk, I have so many references in my head. And it’s so hard to say what brands I like because it changes depending on my mood. I’ll wear Helmut Lang SS04 with a cardigan from Uniqlo or Zara. Stuff like that.

What else do you enjoy besides fashion?

I like art, photography, booze, bad house parties, and tumblr.

What are your next steps? (next projects?)

I’m currently looking for a job in New York.
