Liz isn't someone who can be summed up with just the word fashion. Turns out she's also a social psychologist, foodie, and even has some pangs of existentialism thrown in. When we went out to her place in San Francisco to shoot these photos we learned that she's moving down to LA. Guess we'll just have to schedule another shoot!
Hmmm…. Well, I was born in Cuba, grew up in Russia and spent the last 15 years of my life in the states. I’m currently in the process of moving back to Los Angeles with my boyfriend for my new job as a Marketing and PR manager for a couple of online fashion retailers.
After hitting it big with my blog, I used it to leverage my career in the fashion industry. I have a totally useless Bachelors degree in Social Psychology.
Latest inspiration?
I’ve always been inspired by the 70′s and that flower child, effortless boho chic style that the era embodied. What’s not to love about printed caftans, leather fringe, and idealized visions of change? But lately I’ve also been drawn to more polished, sophisticated looks. I’m never just one thing, so I easily swing between these polar opposite styles in a matter of days. Aside from just fashion, I’ve been really inspired by Exile and The Kingdom by Albert Camus. It’s kind of what spurred my move and new job.

Whatever catches my fancy really….
My boyfriend is a painter, so art is a huge part of our everyday life. I’m also a huge foodie, I love cooking and hosting dinner parties. My boyfriend and I love spending our Sundays seeking out new restaurants, cafes and bars to try.
My next steps are to continue enjoying and living my life as I have been. I’ve never been one for predicting the future, I’ll just take things as they come.
