Influenced by her sisters growing up, Julie found that dressing well came naturally to her, and now she uses her instinctive fashion sense as a freelance fashion stylist and fashion blogger. Look forward to her opening a clothing store so you can have a slice of beach and breeze in your closet.
I was born in Durango, Mexico but I was raised in Los Angeles- wouldn’t have it any other way. It’s that California dreamin’… sunsets + palm trees. I’m a freelance wardrobe stylist, fashion blogger, thrift lover but most importantly I’m an all around creative type. I’ve done a little bit of everything form trend forecasting, assistant stylist, showroom intern, window displays to vintage buyer. I’m your go-to girl for anything creative.
Growing up with older sisters whose style was always impeccable, it was very easy for me to get into fashion. Seeing them get dressed for middle/high school in the mornings was always the highlight of my day. Later, as I got older I developed my own style and it always won those “best dressed” awards…I knew then that I had to be in this industry for all the love and passion I had for it.
Latest inspiration?
I’m currently inspired by the beach, sunsets, bicycles, flowers, flea markets, vintage prints, nude colors, messy buns, DIY jewelry + food photography. Pretty much anything that’s cool, effortless and eye-catching!
Favorite stores/brands/companies?
Addicted to Wasteland and other random thrift shops. Also love Madewell, FreePeople, Barneys CO OP, Zara, Forever21, LF, and other.
I enjoy typography, dinners, photography, 90′s R&B, vietnamese iced coffee, to-do lists, collages, scrapbooking and art.
Ideally, I would love to collaborate with some of my favorite brands, take photography classes, travel, open my store and take my blog to the next level.
